The Day-to-Day

  • Safely and efficiently collect aggregate and hot mix asphalt samples for testing.
  • Coordinate daily with QC Lead Technician to ensure accurate sampling.
  • Prepare and submit test documentation to QC Lead Technician.
  • Perform test procedures in line with job specifications promptly and accurately.
  • Report non-compliant test results to QC Lead Technician or QC Regional Manager.
  • Maintain a courteous and professional manner with coworkers, customers, and the public.
  • Perform daily housekeeping to ensure a clean lab environment.
  • Follow all company policies and regulations for a safe working environment.
  • Adapt to last-minute changes in location, shift, or duties as needed.
  • Take initiative to assist with other tasks to support job completion.
  • Adhere to the Quality Control Ethical Policy.

Job Requirements

  • Complete pre-employment drug screening, criminal background check, and “Fit for Work” physical.
  • Provide valid I-9 Immigration documentation.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with co-workers, supervisors, and the public.
  • Report to work punctually at the designated start time.
  • Be willing to work extended hours as required.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Work well in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors as needed.
  • Complete safe driver training; possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. CDL may be required.
  • Be at least 18 years old.

Skills You Need

  • Experience preferred, but not required.
  • High school diploma.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
